This morning Ava woke up in a good mood. (this hasn't been happening lately, so it was very refreshing). Matt was getting ready in the bathroom and I was unloading the dishwasher when she woke up. She saw Matt first and started talking to him and told him:
"Daddy I have too many turkeys in my tummy"
Matt has her come tell me, because it's just too cute and I start talking with her and what she was trying to tell him was that her tummy hurt because she ate too much turkey last night. Seems innocent enough right? No, she's so smart it's scary! We made her sit and finish the meat part of her sandwich before she could get up last night. She's been on a trend to not eat when the rest of us eat and snack on other things. We try to limit this as much as possible but sometimes it's not always practical (especially out in public when she starts crying and telling you she's hungry (or starving) and you tell her, "sorry should've eaten lunch". Public opinion becomes evident when you can feel the stares...
So the little rascal was letting us know that making her eat that made her tummy hurt. Maybe it did, but to correlate the two is kind of scary.
