I love camping and fishing (trot line fishing, not rod a reel). I think it is important we take Ava and Audrey out to do these things because I think it is a wonderful way to instill some values in them. You don't have to have your TV, video games, make-up, AC, toilet and shower to have fun. There is a simpler side of life that (on short term basis) is rather enjoyable. (My parents have made things a little more convenient in the last couple years with running water, bathtub and AC.... however, I think they still get the idea.) They can be girly girls if they'd like, but they'll also have the experience of what it is like without all the modern conveniences.
