Last night Matt and I were getting the girls ready for bed and I was asking Ava what she wanted to wear. I pulled out a princess nightgown and asked her if she wanted to wear it. Her reply was:
"No that's my hand dress"
A little confused I kept pulling night gowns out and she kept calling them her hand dresses. I was a little curious why she was calling them that so I asked her. She said:
"Mommy they are hand dress because I stick my hands out like this (stretching her arms as far as they could reach) and go round and round and round"

Both Matt and I thought it was hilarious but we have to be careful not to embarrass her because it's so cute we don't want her to stop. I got a couple pics to share.
Daddy and Audrey in there
pjs.
Audrey, we won't leave her out! She is growing daily and has actually done a proper crawl now, but won't do it consistently because she just fusses and someone (mommy, daddy, or Ava) will get her what she wants. I made her crawl across the bed to get to me to nurse. Nothing like food incentive to get things going.

Second story that happened earlier last night. Ava comes and tells me that her hand hurts and when I look at it, her entire back side of her hand is red and swollen. It looked really bad, so I called this number our insurance company gives us that has a nurse
hotline to see if it were something I needed to be concerned with. I also called Natalie to see if she had done it earlier in the day. Short side of the story is that we don't know when, where, or how it happened. I made a baking soda paste and put it on the back side of her hand and wrapped it up so she wouldn't play with it. I took a couple pics, after putting the bandage on. (
should've taken some before shots so that I could know if it was getting worse) My main concern is that she was inside and the only thing we've had in our house that could bite her like that would be an ant or spider. She's never reacted that way to ant bites before so I was really worry it was a
poisonous spider. It looks better this morning so I'll hold off taking her to the doc, but we had an uneasy feeling about it last night.

Bryson had a mysterious bite on the back of his leg. I guess he scratched it raw and then it turned into a hard knot with a little rash around it. I started putting hydrocortizone on it to see if it would help, It looks a whole lot better! You might try that. p.s. I love the hand dress story.
