This is Audrey's first Valentine's Day and Ava's third. It started on Friday with Natalie dressing them up and taking them to a church Valentine exchange. They came home with candy and cupcakes. (They had made a dozen or so a couple days before, so we had cupcakes running out our ears!) Matt and I got to go to see a movie and dinner all in one. I think this is the first movie we've seen in several years. It was great!
Saturday morning we layed in bed for a little while and let the girls open up their Valentine's (which Ava had already found and investigated the day before...) This is probably the best thus far, getting to share it with both girls and Ava realizing a little more what it means. Then we went to breakfast together as a family, it was great. Ava ate her fruit instead of pancakes or french toast (Mommy's girl on that one!).
I am so blessed to have so much love in my family!
