Audrey Rolled Over!

Audrey finally rolled over. She has been able to do it forever, she rolled herself over in the bath tub chair and landed face first in the water. Whew, what a scary experience. She screamed of course but hasn't learned her lesson... I tried to give her and Ava a bath tonight and I had to call in reinforcements because I couldn't keep her from catfish rolling into the water.

So the rolling over part. I don't count it unless she's on a flat semi hard surface. Bed rolls haven't counted, she did that at like 4 weeks. This weekend we went to the "country" with Matt's family and we had a picnic by the river. We laid out a table cloth and I laid Audrey on it to let her stretch out and kick around. She was loving it and she decided she would roll over, right in front of everyone. The place we had the picnic is referred to as the "black stump hole". So Audrey first rolled over at the "black stump hole". (There isn't a black stump or a hole, but at some point in history there was and that is how it got the name....and it's stuck)

We've finally started feeding her cereal and she loves it. We tried the week she turned four months old but I didn't pick the best time to do it :( She screamed! We've started feeding her again because she would open her mouth and try to grab food while we were eating. So I decided I better start feeding her with us. Ava has graduated to the table and Audrey now has the high chair (perfect timing, we kinda pushed Ava out but once she sat at the table like Mommy and Daddy she loved it).

Audrey is growing up so fast! Right now my main goal is to make sure she doesn't start sucking her fingers. She'll spit the passy out and pop four fingers in and start sucking away. I can take a passy away but I can't cut her fingers off..... so I am watching really closely to catch her doing it and replace the fingers with the passy or a toy!
