Ava has learned about princesses and Tinkerbell. She isn't quite sure who Tinkerbell is, but every time she puts on a dress or long shirt she holds it out and dances around and says "my Tinkerbell, my Tinkerbell" I am sure she'll figure it out soon, so I better capture the cute little sayings now.
This just happened tonight: We put Ava in pull-ups to go to bed at night and Matt told her that we were almost out, what were we going to do. She looks up at him and says "we'll buy more daddy". Also today, Matt's Mom and Dad took the girls to see Matt's Aunt Marsha. They exited at the street leading to Marsha's but didn't go straight to her house, they were going to pick up lunch first. Ava promptly let Pa know that he was going to wrong way to Marsha's. She's been there probably a total of three times now and the girl already recognizes the correct way to get there.
We had a discussion at work about sense of direction and so I thought I would experiment with her and asked her last week to point towards our house and wouldn't you know, she pointed in the exact direction and said "that way Mommy". I think she's going to have a good sense of direction and be observant like her mommy and daddy. Maybe we have another engineer in the family :)
