This weekend we made a trip to see my children's only great grandparent that is still living.
Four Generations
Unfortunately, the only memories my children may have of their great grandparents is thru stories and pictures. Ava asked about "Paw paw" a couple times since he has passed away but I don't know if she'll have any long term memory of him. We went and visited Grandma this weekend, and it was a good experience. She had a good day that day and so it worked out to be the best day to go! This was the first time Audrey had seen her, and this is the only great grandparent she'll ever meet. Paw paw died two days before she was born. Grandma hasn't been doing good lately :(
I remember almost everyone of my great grandparents and so it saddens me that my children will not have the same memories.
